Radically simplifying the switching process for wireless service.
The process of switching from one wireless carrier to another is confusing, frustrating and in most cases impossible to do online. We felt that -- and then we validated that with a survey of over 2k users where 68% of people expressed these same sentiments. Our mission was to change that for everyone, or at least those that wanted to switch to Verizon. We radically simplified the switching experience while using data to give customers the most transparent & accurate pricing. The redesign was devastatingly effective, leading to 2x more conversion on site and 50% on mobile with the new setup process vs. the legacy system.
This radically simple and extremely successful work was designed with an incredibly talented team at R/GA - my role was the ECD across the entire Verizon account, Verizon was one of R/GA’s largest client and spanned across multiple business units; Wireless, FIOS, the Verizon Loyalty Program, the My Verizon app, Service Innovation and a new wireless service that never launched but would have been really really good if it had.
